End User License Agreement

Effective August 17, 2026. Contact: tame support on Discord↗

This End User License Agreement, or EULA, governs the tame Desktop App, bundled components, updates, and documentation, together called the Software. It supplements the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. If the EULA and the Terms conflict about the Software licence, this EULA controls that narrow issue. The Terms control everything else.

1. Acceptance and authority#

By downloading, installing, activating, or using the Software, the Customer agrees to this EULA. An Operator acting for a Customer confirms that they are authorized to accept it for that Customer. The Software is offered for commercial use by adults and is licensed, not sold.

2. Licence grant#

Subject to payment, the selected Subscription Tier, and continued compliance with this agreement, tame grants the Customer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence during the paid subscription term to install and use the Software on Customer-controlled Macs for the Customer's internal business operations.

The number of Macs, Devices, Accounts, Clients, and other allowances is determined by the Subscription Tier shown at purchase. A License Key is bound to a Workspace and installation. It may not be shared across unrelated businesses or used to exceed purchased allowances.

No ownership interest in the Software is transferred.

3. Customer environment#

The Customer supplies and controls every Mac, Device, Account, network, Proxy, Apple developer setup, operating-system permission, and other component needed to use the Software. The Customer is responsible for compatibility, maintenance, backups, physical security, and lawful operation of that environment.

tame does not receive or manage Platform credentials. Authentication to a Platform happens on the Customer's Device. The Software acts only on Customer instructions and cannot independently decide to create, publish, or distribute content.

4. Licence restrictions#

Except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction, the Customer must not and must not help anyone else to:

  • copy the Software except for a reasonable backup;
  • sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, distribute, publish, or make it available as a standalone product;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code, or discover non-public methods or models;
  • modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the Software;
  • remove ownership notices or misrepresent the source of the Software;
  • bypass licence checks, subscription allowances, Device isolation, security controls, or technical restrictions;
  • use one License Key for more installations than the plan permits;
  • use the Software to benchmark or build a competing product without written permission; or
  • use the Software unlawfully or contrary to the Terms of Service.

The Customer may allow its employees and contractors to use the Software only through authorized Operator access and remains responsible for them.

5. Updates and compatibility#

tame may provide automatic or manual updates, fixes, replacements, or new versions. An update may be required for security, compatibility, or continued access. Updates remain part of the Software and are governed by this EULA unless accompanied by different terms.

Platforms and operating systems change independently. tame does not promise compatibility with every current or future Platform, Device, Mac, operating-system version, or third-party component. A change outside tame's control may interrupt or permanently prevent a workflow.

6. Third-party components#

The Software may contain or depend on third-party software and services. Separate open-source notices or third-party licence terms apply to those components. Nothing in this EULA gives tame ownership of third-party technology or makes a third party responsible for tame's obligations.

Apple, Platform providers, network providers, and other third parties are not parties to this EULA and have no duty to support the Software.

7. Ownership and feedback#

tame and its licensors own the Software and all related intellectual property. The Customer owns its own content and operational data, subject to the limited processing permission in the Terms.

If the Customer offers feedback or suggestions, tame may use them without restriction or compensation. Do not include Client-owned content or confidential information in feedback unless it is necessary for a support request.

8. Subscription term and ending the licence#

The licence begins when the Software is activated and continues only while the applicable subscription permits use. Monthly and annual subscriptions are prepaid. Cancelling renewal does not shorten the prepaid term. In particular, an annual subscription continues through the end of its annual term and is not partially refunded after the first 7 days, except where law requires otherwise.

The Customer may end this EULA by stopping use and uninstalling the Software. tame may suspend or end the licence for non-payment, breach, unlawful use, security risk, suspected licence abuse, or a legal requirement.

When the licence ends, the Customer must stop using and delete all copies of the Software. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and payment survive.

9. Support#

Support covers reasonable guidance about installation, configuration, licensing, and documented product behavior. Unless tame agrees otherwise in writing, support does not include operating Customer Accounts, choosing content, guaranteeing a Post, reversing Platform enforcement, restoring a Platform Account, managing Devices, or providing legal or Platform-compliance advice.

10. Platform and automation risk#

The Customer understands that automation may conflict with Platform rules or enforcement. The Software may make an incorrect gesture, fail to recognize a screen, stop during an Action, publish differently than expected, or become incompatible after a Platform change.

The Customer assumes responsibility for reviewing its workflows, Content Items, Posts, Account permissions, Platform rules, and results. tame makes no promise that using the Software is permitted by a Platform or that any Platform Account will remain unrestricted, available, profitable, or safe.

11. Warranty disclaimer and liability#

The Software is provided as is and as available to the maximum extent permitted by law. tame disclaims implied and statutory warranties, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and compatibility.

The exclusions and liability cap in Section 11 of the Terms of Service apply fully to this EULA. They specifically include loss or restriction of a Platform Account, loss of content or data, Platform enforcement, third-party changes, Device or Mac failure, interruption, and actions performed on Customer instructions. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

12. Export and legal compliance#

The Customer must comply with applicable export controls, sanctions, and trade restrictions. The Software may not be used by or for a prohibited person, entity, territory, or purpose.

13. General terms#

This EULA does not create a partnership, employment, fiduciary, agency, or joint venture relationship. The Customer may not assign it without written consent. If one provision cannot be enforced, it will be limited only as necessary and the remainder will continue.

The dispute and general provisions in the Terms of Service apply to this EULA. The English version controls if a translation differs.

14. Changes and contact#

We may update this EULA for future versions or continued use. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where required. Questions and notices should be sent to tame support on Discord↗.
