Terms of Service

Effective August 17, 2026. Contact: tame support on Discord↗

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the tame website, Web App, Desktop App, documentation, support, and related services. Together, these are the Services. By creating a Workspace, purchasing a subscription, installing the Desktop App, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, the End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who may use tame#

The Services are for business use by adults. You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement, and legally permitted to use the Services where you are located. If you act for a business or another legal entity, you confirm that you can bind it to this agreement.

An Operator is a person who signs in. A Workspace is the business environment that an Operator creates or joins. The Workspace and the business responsible for it are the Customer under these Terms.

2. What tame provides#

tame coordinates social media operations on Macs and physical iOS Devices controlled by the Customer. It provides scheduling, local automation, Screen Recognition, operational reporting, Content Library features, and related tools. Features, limits, supported Platforms, system requirements, and subscription allowances may change as the product develops.

tame is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, ByteDance, or any other Platform provider.

3. Workspaces, Operators, and security#

The Customer is responsible for:

  • accurate registration and billing information;
  • deciding which Operators may access the Workspace and which Role each receives;
  • all activity performed through its Workspace, Devices, Macs, and License Keys;
  • securing Operator sign-in details, email accounts, Devices, Macs, License Keys, and local infrastructure; and
  • telling us promptly at tame support on Discord↗ if unauthorized access is suspected.

Do not share an Operator account. tame may suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the Services, comply with law, or prevent harm.

4. Platform Accounts and Customer responsibility#

tame never asks for or stores a Platform password, session secret, or authentication token. Platform Accounts remain on Customer-controlled Devices and are outside tame's custody and control.

The Customer alone decides what the automation does and remains responsible for every Account, Client, Proxy, Content Item, Post, instruction, schedule, and action performed using the Services. The Customer confirms that it has every authorization, licence, consent, and legal basis required to operate each Account and process each Client's content and information.

Automation may be restricted by Platform rules. A Platform may change its interface, detection systems, eligibility rules, rate limits, terms, or enforcement practices without notice. Use of automation may lead to reduced reach, rejected Posts, challenges, restrictions, suspension, loss of content, or permanent loss of a Platform Account. The Customer accepts those Platform risks and must independently decide whether each use of tame is permitted. tame does not guarantee Account safety, continued access, reach, engagement, revenue, or any particular outcome.

5. Customer content and operational data#

The Customer keeps its rights in content and data submitted to the Services. The Customer grants tame a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, transmit, format, and otherwise process that material only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services and comply with law.

The Customer must not submit material unless it has the right to do so. tame does not review or approve Customer content before it is used. The Customer is responsible for copyright, publicity, privacy, advertising, consumer-protection, and other claims connected with its material or activities.

6. Acceptable use#

The Customer and its Operators must not:

  • break any law, court order, sanction, or third-party right;
  • violate a Platform's rules or use tame to evade a restriction or enforcement action;
  • publish unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, exploitative, or infringing material;
  • send spam or conduct unauthorized advertising or impersonation;
  • operate an Account, Device, or Client without authority;
  • attempt to obtain another Workspace's data or interfere with tame's security or availability;
  • bypass subscription allowances, licence checks, technical restrictions, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service from the Services, except where applicable law does not permit that restriction; or
  • use the Services in a safety-critical setting or where a failure could cause personal injury.

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or end access. We may preserve and disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or enforce this agreement.

7. Subscriptions, Whop, renewal, and cancellation#

Paid access is purchased through Whop. Whop processes payment and controls subscription state. tame does not receive full payment-card details. Whop's own terms also apply to its checkout and payment services.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual term until renewal is cancelled. Prices, taxes, currency, features, and allowances are shown at checkout. Price changes apply to a later renewal after any notice required by law.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end or refund the period already purchased. An annual subscription therefore remains active through its full prepaid annual term even if renewal is cancelled during that term. Except for the first-purchase guarantee in the Refund Policy, amounts already paid are non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time, downgrades, reduced usage, suspension for breach, or a Customer's decision to stop using tame. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.

If payment fails or a subscription ends, tame may stop renewing the License Key and suspend paid functionality after any applicable grace period. Customer content is not promised to remain available indefinitely after access ends.

8. Changes, maintenance, and third parties#

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice when a material change adversely affects a prepaid Service. If tame permanently discontinues a prepaid Service before the end of its term and offers no reasonable substitute, the Customer may receive a proportional refund for the unused period.

The Services rely on third parties, including Platforms, operating systems, cloud infrastructure, identity providers, email providers, and Whop. We do not control them and are not responsible for their acts, outages, changes, security, content, or continued availability.

9. tame intellectual property#

tame and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, including software, interfaces, documentation, workflows, Screen Recognition definitions, designs, trademarks, and related technology. These Terms do not transfer ownership. The EULA grants only the limited software licence needed to use the Desktop App.

Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, provided it does not include Client-owned content or confidential information.

10. No warranties#

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided as is and as available. tame disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, compatibility, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

tame does not warrant that Screen Recognition will identify every screen, that an Action will finish, that a Post will publish, that third-party Platforms will remain compatible, that data will never be lost, or that the Services will meet the Customer's particular requirements. Operational status and failure evidence are information, not legal, financial, security, marketing, or Platform-compliance advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability#

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tame and its suppliers, personnel, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, content, data, or access to any Account.

Without limiting the paragraph above, tame is not liable for Platform enforcement, Account restriction or loss, reach or engagement changes, Customer content, unauthorized use of Customer-controlled credentials or infrastructure, Proxy performance, Device or Mac failure, third-party changes, or actions the Customer or its Operators instruct the Services to perform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tame's total aggregate liability for all claims arising from the Services or these Terms will not exceed the fees actually paid to tame for the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the first claim. The limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

12. Indemnity#

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Customer will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless tame, its affiliates, suppliers, and personnel from third-party claims, losses, judgments, penalties, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from Customer content, Platform Accounts, use of the Services, violation of law or Platform rules, violation of this agreement, or infringement of another person's rights. tame may control the defence of a covered claim, and the Customer will provide reasonable cooperation. This section does not require indemnification for tame's own fraud or wilful misconduct.

13. Termination#

The Customer may stop using tame and cancel future renewal at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, legal requirement, security risk, misuse, or discontinuation of the Services. When access ends, the licence ends and the Customer must stop using the Desktop App.

Provisions concerning payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, disputes, and any terms that by their nature should survive will remain effective.

14. Disputes and general terms#

Before starting a formal claim, each party will give the other written notice and 30 days to try to resolve it in good faith. Nothing prevents urgent court action to protect security, confidential information, or intellectual property, and nothing removes a right that cannot legally be waived.

These Terms and the policies they incorporate are the entire agreement about the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the rest will remain effective. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. The Customer may not assign this agreement without our written consent. tame may assign it as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of relevant assets.

Applicable mandatory law and the courts with lawful jurisdiction govern this agreement. The Services are not offered where doing so would violate applicable law.

15. Changes and contact#

We may update these Terms. Material changes will receive reasonable notice through the Services, the website, or email and will apply prospectively where required. Continued use after the effective date of an update means acceptance where permitted by law.

Questions, notices, and claims should be sent to tame support on Discord↗.
