Will my Account get banned#

Nobody outside the Platform can promise it will not, and tame does not try. Anyone who does is guessing on your behalf.

tame lets you configure Warmup and scheduling, then inspect the results in Activity. Platform rules still apply to automated activity. Choose your workload carefully; software cannot guarantee Account safety or growth.

Do you need my password#

tame does not store social Platform login credentials. You sign in to the Platform on the Device; tame records the Account's handle. Your tame sign-in is separate.

Remote control forwards input to the shared Device. Authorized viewers can see anything the Device displays, including sensitive text. Share only Devices the Operator should be allowed to use.

Can you see my content#

Content Library uploads are stored in the Workspace's cloud Library. Remote control lets authorized viewers see and control the Device screen; it does not save screenshots or typed content. Client content is not written to application logs. If you enable automatic failure sharing in Settings, tame support can also see the screenshot and workflow details from a failed run. This is off by default, private to authorized support staff, and retained for up to 30 days. Screenshots can contain personal information visible on the Device. See Screen privacy.

Does it work on Android#

tame's Device automation currently supports iPhones connected to a Mac. There is no announced date for Android support.

Does it run on Windows#

The Desktop App that connects to Devices requires a Mac. A remote Operator can use the Web App from a browser on a Windows PC; that PC does not need the Desktop App. The Mac must stay awake and online. See Remote control.

Which platforms will you add#

Instagram and TikTok today. X and Reddit are the most likely next, with no date on either.

Does tame support Proxies#

Yes. tame supports Proxies configured directly on each Device. We recommend Shadowrocket↗ to manage your Proxies on iOS. Configure and manage the connection in Shadowrocket on the Device.

How many phones can I run#

Your plan sets the ceiling, 1 to 100. The other limit is Apple's: a free account may register only 3 devices and its certificates expire weekly. Re-signing is a button press per phone, but for a rack the paid membership is not optional in practice.

How many Accounts per phone#

Your plan allows eight. Three or four is what to aim for. One phone signing in and out of eight Accounts all day is visible whatever the Sessions look like.

How long before a new Account can post#

The default warmup ramp is 14 days, configurable from 7 to 90 days. Posting is your decision; tame does not block a Post until the ramp ends. After the ramp, Kept warm continues daily activity while the schedule is enabled. See Warmup settings.

Do I need special hardware#

No. A Mac, iPhones you have or buy used, and data cables. Past two or three phones you want a powered USB hub.

Do I need to leave my Mac on#

Yes, while it runs. Enable Keep awake in tame's settings and leave a laptop's lid open.

Can I run it from anywhere#

Yes, through the Web App while the Mac stays online. For screen control, the Workspace needs Studio or Agency, the Mac must explicitly share the Device, and your sign-in must have access to it. You do not open Device ports or forward USB connections to the internet. See Share and control Devices.

What if a phone fails mid run#

That Device goes to Needs attention with a cause in words. Other Devices can continue their work while you check the affected Device.

Can I run Accounts for several clients#

Not yet. The separation is built and enforced, and there is no screen for creating a second Client. See Clients.

Can I add my team#

Yes. Owners and Managers with access to the whole Workspace can create VA invitation links on Studio or Agency. They share those links manually and choose each VA's Device access. VAs use remote control and its Content Library, with optional warmup start/stop permission. See Invite VAs and set access.

What happens when I cancel#

Your subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Is there a free trial#

No, and no free tier. Every safety property is in every plan including the smallest.

Can I use it today#

Yes. Create a Workspace, choose a plan, and download the Desktop App. Follow the Quickstart to prepare your Mac and first Device.
