What warmup is
Warmup is an Account's daily browsing activity: opening the Platform, scrolling, watching, and sometimes liking, searching or visiting profiles. It can run before you begin posting and continue afterwards.
You choose which Accounts participate and when to start their Warmup Schedule. The Desktop App performs their Sessions on the connected Devices.
From Foundation to Kept warm#
Each Account has its own Warmup Phase. With the default 14-day ramp:
| Phase | When | Activity |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation | Days 1 to 2 | Establishes a rhythm with browsing, watching, scrolling, occasional likes and rare search |
| Discovery | Days 3 to 7 | Adds searches and profile visits, with rare follows |
| Engagement | Days 8 to 14 | Varies the number and depth of Sessions as activity grows |
| Kept warm | After the ramp | Continues varied daily activity until you pause the schedule |
Changing the ramp changes when the phase boundaries occur. Each Account can follow its Device's defaults or use its own settings.
Each Account has its own day#
Sessions vary in timing and duration within the configured waking hours. The daily Session limit is a maximum, not a promise to perform that many Sessions. Accounts on the same Device share its execution time, so they run one at a time.
The Desktop App's Today tab shows the selected Account's plan using the Mac's local time. Progress comes from recorded Session history. An immediate Session close to a planned visit can count towards that visit, so scheduled work does not simply repeat it.
The Web App shows activity reported by the Mac and labels its recent counters as the last 24 hours. Its Warming now count describes current execution; an enabled schedule may be waiting between Sessions.
What niches change#
Niches are keywords you save on an Account. Ordinary warmup sometimes searches one of those keywords, according to the Account's search frequency. Without niches, it browses the feed.
To see a search attempt now, add a niche and choose Warm & search. This requests one Session. It does not make every future Session search or switch the schedule on.
Start with a clear scope#
Open Warmup, include the Accounts you want, review the Device defaults, then press Start scheduled warmup. To change just one Account, open its detail and choose Edit Account settings.
The Warmup settings guide explains every control in the Desktop App, Web App and MCP, including how to pause a schedule and run one immediate Session.
